I tell her absolutely not, we paid for it to be delivered and assembled and it's their responsibility to honor their contract with bbb. I should note the equipment is a truck woth a lift gate which I feel like should be standard for a shipping company?). and the only way I'm getting my furniture is if I sign a waiver of liability because they dont have the equipment and cant guarantee it wont be damaged(even though she had JUST told me they had it but it was broken. I play her the message, she tells me maybe if i was nicer I'd get better customer service.

I tell her what her message said and she tells me I'm lying. I conveniently get the same woman who left me a voicemail the day before who insists she called me to tell me the truck with the equipment they need to deliver was broken and they were pushing the delivery date out.

after some pro level internet stalking we get the company name and I call and ask for an eta. I call back for an ETA and it's a google voice number and I cant leave a message. finally one day I miss a call during a meeting and get a voicemail saying that they would be in my area with my furniture the following day. we spent hours on hold and were never able to get an eta. They use contracted shipping companies for items shipped from the manufacturer. problem solved, but was annoying.Ĭhanged my delivery date for my furniture 3x.

easy enough, disputed it with the bank but it took bbb so long to process the payment the bank told us to dispute it with them. We ordered our nursery furniture from them and the whole experience was a nightmare. We're going to wait a few weeks until we get our registry completion discount and then go into the store and see if we can get any traction with a real person. They're not going to do anything to correct this and they suggested, if I don't want to make the hour long round-trip to the nearest BBB to return in person, that I can somehow find boxes big enough for the gifts, pack them up and ship them back to BBB. showing they were connected to my registry when purchased in store), were only purchased from the registry once and the duplicates were just purchased without the salesperson being told they were from my registry.

The other gifts they insist, in spite of the fact both gifts appearing on the thank you list (i.e. UPDATE: I've got back and forth with Buy Buy Baby for a week and basically, their system updates daily and the crib mattresses were purchased within 30 minutes of each other (as we thought). Our loved ones easily could have gone to our Amazon registry for alternative gifts if they had known these things had been purchased and we've reached the point that it's going to take some interesting packing to fit everything in the car for a single return trip to BBB. I've reached out to customer service to see what their solution is, but I'm really annoyed about the whole thing. Of course, my cynical mind is thinking they did this intentionally to trap our loved ones' money there. We also got some BBB gift cards, so I'm really not interested in another $350 of store credit. None of these are any of the smaller items (bibs, pacifiers, etc) that could be useful in duplicate and all told, its >$350 worth of duplicate gifts we now have to drive 30 minutes to BBB to return. Not only that, but there's another gift that's been purchased in duplicate 2 weeks ago a couple days apart and we haven't received either one and it is still listed on our registry as needed! The mattresses were purchased on the same day as suspected but the activity mats were purchased TWELVE days apart. So, I finally checked the thank you list function on our BBB registry. It's the same activity mat my other SIL had given me at the shower.

My mom just gave me a gift from a friend who couldn't make the shower. I was avoiding looking at the registry to maintain some of the surprise during the shower so didn't look any further into it. DH and I laughed about it, assumed they had clicked order at the same time and figured we would return one for store credit, no big deal. The day before the shower, we received 2 of our crib mattress delivered to our home, from a family friend and one of my SILs. I ended up with 30 gifts at different price points on our BBB registry. We kept both registries pretty small - we were inviting less than 40 people to the shower (which was this past weekend and lovely with about 26 guests in the end) and I knew some people would go off registry for clothes, etc so I didn't bother registering for those types of things. My mom wanted us to register at a brick and mortar store so, in addition to Amazon, we registered at Buy Buy Baby.

I'll update this if I get a good resolution from customer service, but I wanted to get a warning out there for those looking to register at Buy Buy Baby.
